Information about Prep at Wamuran

Welcome to Prep at Wamuran. Our program is play based, where children are central and are involved in planning their learning experiences. Every parent wants their child to be happy and have a love of learning.

Who will teach my child? Currently we have two prep classes, Prep A with Mrs Kean and our Prep B with Mrs Tomlinson.

When can I enrol? Children will need to be five by 30 June in the year they start in the Preparatory class.

All children of appropriate age will have access to the Preparatory year.

Uniforms: Children attending Prep at Wamuran will wear the same school uniform as the rest of the school. This gives them a sense of belonging.


What I will see my child doing?

  • experimenting with reading and writing

  • learning about mathematical concepts indoors and outdoors
